Getting to Maexxna fast!

1. Kill Anub'rekhan and pull the trash as fast as you can to Grand Widow Faerlina.
2. Grand Widow Faerlina must be killed to gain access to Maexxna.
3. Once Grand Widow Faerlina is dead, continue pulling to Maexxna as fast as you can.
4. If your guild takes forever looting then have a Need/Greed rule set in place, you need as much down time as possible.
5. Make sure everyone knows the fights prior to your run.

Maexxna Strategy!

1. Tank Maexxna in the center, facing away from the group.
2. Every 40 seconds Web Spray will be cast, incapacitating everyone but the tank for 8 seconds. Healers need to make sure the tank is topped off prior to Web Spray.
3. You need to watch out for Necrotic Poison, this reduces healing by 90%. Try keeping Abolish Poison on the tank prior to Web Spray so the tank can be quickly healed when it is over.
4. During the fight Spider Spawn will occur, they have low health so group them together and AoE them down.
5. It is very important that you have assigned range dps to help the person in Web Wrap. You can dps the person out of the web that throws them to the wall, wraps them in a web and incapacitates them.
6. The raid needs to stop DPS at 35%, wait for the next Web Spray then burn down Maexxna as fast as you can. You do this because at 30% health Maexxna enrages and will kill your tank if you're stuck in Web Spray.
