- Objective: Defeat Archimonde in The Battle for Mount Hyjal.

Archimonde Abilities
- Air Burst is randomly cast at a certain target, dealing 1,500 damage to everyone within 15 yards. All players in air burst are thrown into the air.
- Doomfire is a trail of fire moving away from Archimonde, players who get caught in the trail or enter the trail will be hit for 2,400 damage every 3 seconds and reduces by 150 per tick.
- Fear is an 8 second AoE, cast every 45 seconds.
- Finger of Death is cast on a single target dealing 30,000 damage, this will only occur if no one is in melee range.
- Grip of the Legion is a 60 yard curse, dealing 2,500 damage every 2 seconds and lasts 5 minutes. This needs to be dispelled.
- Hand of Death will occur after 9 minutes or reaching Nordrassil, dealing 100,000 to the entire raid.
- Soul Charge will be given to Archimonde whenever a raid member dies, these will be used at random throughout the encounter.
Druids, Shamans, Hunters will deal 4,500 nature damage over 8 seconds and mana burn for 2,250.
Priest, Mage, Warlock will deal 4,500 fire damage and silence raid members for 4 seconds.
Warrior, Rogue, Paladin will deal 4,500 physical damage and place a debuff on the raid increasing damage taken by 50% for 4 seconds.
Archimonde Strategy
- Each raid member must aquire Tears of the Goddess from Tyrande Whisperwind, this will be used when falling from Air Burst.
- The raid needs to spread out to avoid AoE damage, keep at least 15 yards away from Doomfires, staying within range of a curse remover and healer.
- Doomfire needs to be avoided at all costs, it is very mana intensive to heal raid members through it.
- Fear can put raid members into Doomfire, it is very important for the tanks to have fear dispelled or stance dance through it.
- When Archimonde reaches 10% phase 2 will begin, sit back and watch!
