Emalon comes along with 4 Tempest Minion adds. These adds are an important part of completing this fight successfully. You'll need a tank for Emalon and an off-tank for the adds. Emalon himself has three abilities:
Emalon comes along with 4 Tempest Minion adds. These adds are an important part of completing this fight successfully. You'll need a tank for Emalon and an off-tank for the adds. Emalon himself has three abilities:
- Chain Lightning - Melee needs to be aware of this and try to avoid being too clustered.
- Lightning Nova - The further away from the boss you are, the less damage this will do. It's best to have melee try and run out when he casts this.
- Overcharge - This is probably the most important spell to look out for. When Emalon places this buff on one of his minions it will gain full health and also grow in size. You'll need to have ALL of your DPS switch to the add with this buff and kill it ASAP. Failing to do so will kill everyone in your raid as the minion will cast Overcharged Blast. You have around 24 seconds to get the overcharged minion down!
